Duck doesn't leave a lot of leftovers, and what there is I have simmering away on the wood stove for eventual conversion to soup; however, there was plenty of the rest of last night's dinner to make lunch for today and probably for tomorrow as well. And also pumpkin pie.
I was the "team player" for the Day Jobbe, working today so that the rest of our team can use their floating holidays. Without a Loscon to which to travel this year, that was okay with me. Aside from a bit of rush in the morning (mostly dealing with things arising from non-US sites that obviously aren't observing US holidays), it wasn't too bad, and I was even able to sleep in for an hour, per instructions from my supervisor.
