Oh, definitely! That's why I got mine. Now I don't have enough desk space for two monitors for both my personal and work computers, so what I ended up doing was cobbling together a setup that uses a total of three monitors, with one of them shared between the work and personal machines through the USB hubs.
Because of the bug in the previous Dell that obliged me to plug the Ethernet cable directly into the laptop, I never realized that the Ethernet port in the USB hub that I put on it was (I'm guessing) defective. Everything else in that hub works, including the video ports that allow me to use multiple monitors.
