Train Bound for Canada

kevin_standleeWhenever possible, I try to go out on the porch when I hear a train coming, especially when the train doesn't sound typical. This morning, I got a surprise.
I had no warning of what was coming, so I had to very quickly try to take a picture, and the quality is none too good.
A Union Pacific freight locomotive (not visible here because it takes a couple of seconds to get the camera activated on the phone even in the best of circumstances) was hauling what appeared to be two sets of Charger locomotives and Venture coaches painted for Via Rail Canada.
According to what I found online, expect to see this equipment operating on the Via Rail corridor (Windsor-Toronto-Montreal-Quebec City) soon.
Lisa tells me that some people told her that we'd regret moving here, because it would be nothing but Union Pacific locomotives and container freights. How little they knew.
